The Mount Saint Mary Academy Belles are off to a 2-0 start to the 2016-2017 season. Head Coach Lauren Ramsey, a former MSM and Lyon College basketball standout, is dedicated to rebuilding the MSM basketball program as a first-year head coach. After playing at the collegiate level and serving as an assistant and freshman coach, she is using her experience and insight to bridge the gap between being an underachieving program to a consistent contender in the 7A Central.
One change that AFA is blessed to be a part of is taking over the strength and conditioning for the Varsity and Junior Varsity Belles. Since undertaking the role, we've collaborated with MSM coaching staff, players, and parents to educate and train what we believe are the fundamental aspects of human performance - mindset, nutrition, training, and recovery. After 3 months of off-season preparation, the Belles are ready for an exciting season thanks to their hard work, dedication, and the leadership of coach Ramsey.
Now, we look forward to helping the ladies improve each week. We can't wait to see how successful they can become!
